FIBREXTER
TECHNICAL DEFINITION

Cement-based powder filler with fibres for treating damaged exterior substrates.

The filler is multi-purpose: can be used to fill, repair and rectify wall surfaces, with a smooth finish.


COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE

Compound in powder form, composed of cement, sand, calcium carbonate, resin, fibre and various adjuvants.

The resulting paste is white.


SUITABLE SUBSTRATES

All types of substrates : cement, concrete, concrete blocks, stones, brick, old paintwork, old tiling.


COVERINGS

Once the filler is completely dry, can be covered with all types of coatings and paintwork.

Do not directly cover with solvent-borne paint.


TECHNICAL FEATURES

Setting time: 30 to 40 minutes

Adhesion: complies with EN 16566

AFNOR NFT 36.005 classification: Family IV class 4c


PACKAGING

5 - 15 kg bags on covered pallet.


STORAGE

6 months in original unopened packaging in a dry place.


PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Do not use paste that has begun to set. Do not apply on damp substrates Not suitable for the treatment of in-ground walls. Do not apply to floors.

The temperature on application and during drying must be between 8 and 35°C.

Dangerous, follow the instruction for use.

Contains cement: wearing gloves is recommended.

Refer to the safety labelling on the packaging. Follow the caution advice.

MIXING PROPORTIONS

6 to 6.5 litres of water per 15 kg bag

2 to 2.2 litres of water per 5 kg bag

0.4 - 0.43l of water for 1 kg

2 volumes of water for 5 volumes of powder


APPLICATION

Application with a plastering spatula, knife, smoothing trowel. Clean tools with water.


THICKNESS OF APPLICATION

All thicknesses.


COVERAGE

Approximately 1 kg per m²/mm of thickness.


DRYING TIME

It depends on the ambient conditions, the type of substrate and the thickness of application.

A second coat can be applied 12-24 hours after the first coat under normal conditions.


APPLICATION TIPS

Open up cracks.

Ensure the substrate is perfectly hard and sound and if necessary use a primer to harden the substrate.

Adapt the consistency of the filler to the type of work.
