TECHNICAL DEFINITION

COMPOSITION AND APPEARANCE

Powder filler composed of cement, filler, resin and various additives.

Produces a white paste.


ACCEPTED SUBSTRATES

Cement, concrete, bricks, concrete blocks, stone, aerated concrete, plaster, old paint, old tiling.

SUITABLE SURFACES

Once completely dry, FINEX SYSTEM can be covered with all types of paint, watertightness system, plaster- or cement-based fillers, and silicate, epoxy or polyurethane paint.


TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Grain size : fine

• Adhesion : complies with standard DTU 42.1

• pH : 9 once dry

• Setting starts after 50 minutes

• Setting ends in 1 hr 10 min


PACK SIZE

5 and 15 kg bags on wrapped pallet.


STORAGE

6 months in original unopened packing protected from damp.

The temperature during application and drying must range between 5 and 35°c.

Do not use once the paste has started to set.

If using on plaster and aerated concrete, apply our prim-sm adhesive primer beforehand.

Do not apply to industrial flooring.

Contains cement. Bears the xi irritant label. 

Read carefully the precautions for use and the safety instructions printed on the package.


PREPARATION OF SURFACES BEFORE APPLICATION

The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust and of any trace of stripping oil.

Walls that are peeling off must be scraped beforehand.

Strip any old paint in poor condition and remove any old thick plastic covering (DTU 42-1).

Good cohesion of the substrate is essential.

Otherwise, harden the substrate with PRIM-SM.


MIXING FACTOR

Use approximately 2 liters of water for one 5 kg bag (or 6 liters for one 15 kg bag).


APPLICATION

Up to 30 mm, but make sure that the substrate can withstand such a load.


CONSUMPTION

Approximately 1 kg/m2/mm thickness.


DRYING TIME

This depends on the weather conditions, on the type of substrate and on the applied thickness. 

As a general rule, for 1cm thickness, FINEX SYSTEM dries in 6 hrs.
