BONDING ADHESIVE TERRACOTTA

This powder adhesive is specially formulated for indoor assembly of earthenware block partitions.

Also suitable for locking tiles at the tops of partitions.

For use in dry rooms.

Plaster, calcium carbonate, resin and various additives.

The resulting paste is white.

Earthenware blocks.

Smoothing fillers (SEMIN DEGROSSISSAGE) or spray applied fillers.

Rate Tempering

• Setting time: 1 h 30

• Adherence to earthenware blocks: 0.7 MPA

• Particle size: medium

25 kg sacks on film-wrapped pallet.

9 months in unopened original packing protected from damp.

Earthenware tiles must be dry and free of dust.

The floors supporting the first row must also befree of dust.

The temperature during application and drying must be between 5 and 30°C.

Do not use paste that has begun to set.

Not to be used outdoors.

Around 12 to 13 l of water per 25 kg sack.

Depends on the thickness of the blocks and varies

between 1.5 kg/m² (5 cm) and 3 kg/m² (10 cm).

4 to 5 hours depending on ambient conditions.

Application is by coating the edges of the blocks with adhesive.

The joints should be approximately 2 mm thick. Then lay the blocks, offsetting the bond.

The space between the last course of blocks and the ceiling should be as small as possible (maximum 30 mm).

Lock the partition in place with BONDING ADHESIVE TERRACOTTA.

If the space at the top is particularly deep mix the BONDING ADHESIVE TERRACOTTA with 50% plaster.
