SEMIN lightweight fillers have been specifically developed for reducing the weight of the bags and to provide an innovative formula with the same coverage rate as that of standard fillers. These lightweight fillers are available in various solutions and setting times. These lightweight fillers come in the form of a powder and a paste and can be applied to all types of tapered-edge, paper-lined plasterboard, with or without insulation (glass wool, rock wool, polystyrene). These products are applied manually, and in some cases mechanically (bazooka or Airless), but before this any gaps where the plasterboards are accidentally out of alignment must be filled, along with any other gaps. A finishing coat must be applied and then the lightweight fillers allowed to dry.
